so i have a gtx 770 and im about to buy a new graphic card i will probably buy a zotac gtx 970 4gb but which is better? gtx 970 or gtx 780 ti? i saw many benchmarks where gtx 970 beats gtx 780 Ti with 2 or 3 more frame rates than the gtx 780 and yeah i know gtx 970 has a lower consumption, but for example will i get better fps with that gtx 970 or with gtx 780 in bf4?

Solution
970 is better all around plus you will save 200 bucks at least going that route. The 780ti is a good card but the marginal performance is not anywhere near the 200 dollar difference.

GTX970.

On average (over many games) there's a 4% difference. The GTX970 will overclock even heigher. There's also MFAA support which for supported games can gain roughly 10% to 30% (let's just say 15%).

So for arguments sake let's just say the cards are ROUGHLY EQUAL but there's a lot of other differences as well:
- DSR
- Voxel (for future dynamic lighting)
- H.265
- 4K HDMI @60FPS
- fans can turn off (on supported cards)
- 4GB vs 3GB of VRAM

The card I'm currently recommending is this one:

The EVGA SC model with 1.17GHz GPU speed. It's currently $335 USD and you can get a game (recommend FC4).
