Should i Buy a MSI GTX 760?

Hi im still new to building pcs and want to replace my card, im thinking of getting a
MSI GeForce GTX 760 Gaming Edition OC 2GB. With my current specs will it hinder my system or will it be okay with the current build i have? Sorry still bit of a noob at this haha 😀


System Specs:

Intel Core i7 3770k (Retail Fan) - Upgrading soon, recommendation for a good cpu fan welcome
Z77 MSI Motherboard
Corsair Dominator Platinum 8GB RAM
Saphire Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition
Corsair AX760 Power Supply

the 760 is a re-branded gtx 670.....which isn't really an upgrade, from what you have already. If you have the money to spend, then go for a gtx 770. It is your money though, so spend it the way you want to spend it.

your system is good to go with any graphics card upgrade, however, it feels like you are only doing an incremental upgrade on your rig. Get a gtx 770 or add a 20$ for r9 280x at least in order for you to feel the difference.
