Should I buy a new motherboard or stick with mine and just add memory?

Alright guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle right now. I'm wondering if the time is right to buy a new motherboard for my computer. Or should I get some sticks of RAM just to increase the memory of my current motherboard. All I want to do on my computer is play video games, order stuff online, and watch movies. I don't video edit anything, so I don't think I need super powerful stuff.

Right now, I'm wanting to play some Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite, and some others. I'm already locked on to buy a EVGA 2gb 660 or a EVGA 2bg 650TI. (I honestly don't know the difference between the two)

Also, I'm wondering if I should upgrade my processor to play these games? I've heard that I should just stick with the video card/GPU, but I just don't know. I want to play games for this year easily and some years after. I built this computer in 2008, so I think it served me well.

Anyways, what I'm working with is:

Mother board: Asus M4A785T-M
RAM: 4gb
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X3 440 4 cores
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 240

Thanks guys/

Here are the links for the above mentioned video cards. Any advice is appreciated.

get a 3570k and a gtx 660 and you are good to go with any game and the cpu is unlocked so if you feel like overclocking you can do it with ease :)

Lame. I'm thinking if I do buy a CPU it would be an I-5. But there's so many types. Is there a type that is exclusively for gaming? Also, the GPU's up there, what do you think? Do you think I should buy those?

Dude, a 3570K IS an i5. It’s also one of, if not THE best one for gaming performance versus cost.
