[SOLVED] Should I buy a PS4, instead of waiting for a PS5?

So apparently the PS5 supply could be falling behind demand for up to the next five years, given the unprecedented demand, as well as semiconductor shortages, etc. I’m starting to wonder if it’s worth it to simply buy a new PS4 and enjoy it for the next few years whilst awaiting Sony to catch up with demand on the PS5. I currently don’t have a PS4 at all and use an Xbox 360 (sold my previous PS4 a while back due to money issues). I refuse to pay any scalper a dime more than MSRP for a PS5, and with re-stocks continually selling out within moments, I am starting to feel like waiting to get a PS5 is simply not worth it. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

If you think that you will be able to enjoy the PS4 for a few years, that's up to you.
Objectively the PS4 is too slow for a lot of games that will start coming out.
