Should I buy a used/second-hand gaming PC?

I've been looking at building my first gaming PC, but looking on ebay I've found some great-looking PCs for quite a bit less than the cost to build them.

e.g. for £600:
Intel Core i5-3570K
Asus P8Z77-V LX
Corsair Ram 8GB 1600Mhz
EVGA GeForce GTX 660Ti
Z5 ATX Mid Tower PC Case
Samsung 64GB 830 Series SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Corsair CX600
Windows 7 Home - 64 bit only

The only thing I'm worried about is whether the computer's just gonna blow up when I use it. I'm wondering if someone could tell me about the risks of buying second hand, and how to avoid buying a nuclear bomb.

Nothing should go wrong with that PC, its good for the price, if you're looking to avoid actually building your own PC, then there is nothing wrong with this build.

risk about buying it second hand are no warranty. also your buying it off of ebay so the seller will have to pack it VERY well to avoid damages during shipping. about the warranty, unless the seller has not registered any of the parts under his/her own name you will not be able to do it yourself. 600 euro is like....close to 900 bucks USA dollar? i'd build your own

Ok thanks guys for your opinions. I don't plan on buying that specific pc because I don't have the money yet.

Is there any way of transferring warranties for the parts? This one is pick-up only and I assume most used ones are. That's is fine as long as I find one close enough, so I can make sure it's packed well.

Also do custom-built gaming PCs have a way of measuring operating temperatures? Thanks.

There's many PC Building tutorials on youtube
And one of the best ones is NeweggTV's tutorial
It seems pretty hard to do , but it really isn't .
