Solution
It should run everything at low 1080p 20-30 fps even in games like Witcher 3.
If you really care about working in video editing and graphics design, it may be a good purchase. If you don't, the i5 8600k may be better (for gaming only) and their integrated GPUs are more or less the same until you get a GPU.

Ok I watched some videos and I'm not so sure anymore, if anyone can confirm

and the last a more reliable video but without the 8600k

I am no sure that the...
The 2400G is normally only chosen by those that would like to avoid buying a GPU, so, is more of a budget build....equal the all-around performance of perhaps the 3 year old i5-6400 or so...

If planning on installing a GPU, most that are choosing AMD opt for the 2600 as the new 'go to' for good gaming price/performance point....

(The rumored 3000-series desktop CPU launch point if now first week of July; please don't confuse 3000-series laptop CPUs with 3000-series desktops...; different animals entirely!)

Do you want to work on your PC or just gaming?
And at what resolutions would you like to play. Cause the Intel released their new CPUs already and you don't need to wait. Or wait for the new Ryzen and then compare them again.
