I have an audio system which has just 2 inputs, RCA and TOSlink.
I want to pair it with my pc which has an aux port.
Is it worth it to go buy a converter, from analog to digital?
Or should I just go Analog to Analog?
- I use HQ audio files (192kbps+)

Solution
No, absolutely not. Its already been translated by your pc from digital to analog. It would just get converted again after you add in the A/D. That will sound worse. My suggestion would be to get a Schiit Audio D/A convertor and run it from USB on your PC to your analog inputs on your audio system. I have two of them and love them! They are a great value too.
