Should I buy another 3850, budget $120

How's it going community?

I'm new here but not new to the website. I love PC gaming and I had a question about my setup.

I have a Gateway GM5084 with a Sapphire Radeon 3850 Xfire 512MB. I'm trying to figure out why I have major lag on games like GTA4. I play NBA 2k9 with little lag on high settings...

But I'm planning on buying MW2 soon and I want to play online. Would you recommend getting another 3850 to do crossfire? Will this prevent lag or do I need more RAM? I only have 2GB (I know).

the lag may caused by your CPU rather than GPU since GTA 4 is more CPU intensive game.
if you looking for upgrading your card i'd recommend you to get single 4850 or 4870

btw maybe you should considering upgrading your dual core cpu to quad core one

Noooo, don't crossfire two weak, expensive cards when you can easily buy one newer card for the same cost that will perform just as well (HD 4850.)

You could just wait until the 5870/50 comes out. Give or take a couple weeks, the 4870 1GB will be 120$, probably.
