So here's the thing, I'm currently living in Vietnam and my parents are going on a vacation to Taiwan. They'll come by a well-known place called Guanghua market which is like a purchasable compendium of electronic devices lol. I just wanna ask you guys for some experiences about buying 3C products (it's an abbreviation for "computer, communication, and consumer electronics") there coz they haven't been there before and they don't really know Chinese and aren't well-informed about high-tech stuffs.

1. Is it cheaper to buy things there than buying in the US or the rest of the world?
2. What should I buy there? (like smartphones, tablets, or hardware like graphic cards, PSUs, keyboard, mouse, etc). Do you guys recommend anything?
3. Is it trustworthy?

Currently I'm owning a secondhand PowerColor TurboDuo R9 270 and a Corsair VS550 installed in my rig.

Their budget is about 100-150$.

Any comment is appreciated. Thank you very much. Have a nice weekend.

Hi, i live in china and have visited taiwan several times before, so here are some answers:
1.yes, for some products like gpus, cpus, coolers and motherboards. For others like rarer mboards
watercooling aios its more expensive. Basically anything from taiwan is cheaper like gigabyte or msi.
2. Be careful for smartphones and tablets, unfortunately they can turn out to be fakes, have certain components swaped out and have spyware pre installed on them. But very generally they are fine, just stick with the best known brands like apple. PC hardware should be fine just inspect the product, check for their garanty sticker(the more newly issued the better ideally the you bought it), dont let currency exchange rates confuse you and make sure the store gives THEIR warranty in case of problems. I recommend gpus and mboards
3. Yes, just be patient negociate the prices. If the price seems high you should check other shops offers, they can actually be very different.

For 150usd , you can get a gtx 950, some fx series processor like a 8350, a fuck ton of ram or a large ssd like 1tb.
