Question Should i buy GTX 1080ti?

hey guys new to the forum

I was considering buying a 1080ti to play my games at 1440p - I have a dell G sync monitor but I feel my current GPU is letting me down.

My questions are
- Will it fit my case
-Do i need more RAM?
-is there a better option for me other than 1080ti?
- Will I need a better fan?

Im new to pc builds so didnt wannas rush it

CASE - Coolermaster RGB masterbox ATX
MOTHERBOARD - Gigabyte Intel Z370 HD3 Coffee Lake
CPU - i5 8600k Coffee Lake 6 Thread 4.3ghz
COOLER - Cooler Master 120mm master air
SSD x 3 (3 samsung 1tb)
RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRo 16gb 300mhz DDR4
GPU - GTX 1060 6gb ROG STRIX
POWER - Corsair 550 watt CX550M 80plus BRONZE

also I noticed there are quite a few 1080ti 11gb on the market - which one would be best for the build?
