Should I buy i3+940m or i5+930m? Need Help!

Hello I was going to buy a laptop for work and a bit of gaming ( prolly some gtav online and dota 2 )

I was confused picking between 2 laptops with these spec:

Intel Core i3 5010u
Nvidia GT 940m 2GB
4GB Ram
1TB HDD

And this

Intel Core i5 5200u
Nvidia GT 930m 2GB
4GB Ram
500GB HDD

They have about 80$ price difference (i5 is the more expensive one). I was hoping to run some games like GTA V and Fallout 4 with playable fps no matter what setting it is.

Also if I buy i3 I would have the extra budget to add 4gb ram. Please tell me which one I should choose, thanks in advance!

Since both intel core i3 and i5 are dual cores, get the i3 and the more powerful GPU, aswell as extra RAM. However, expect some lag with GTAV at ultra low settings.

^I've seen my friend's laptop which is i5 + 930m and he could run GTA V on medium with playable fps (30-40) , Do you think the i3 + 940m will run it worse, better or same?

Should be better because the x40 is better than the x30. The i3 is identical to the intel core i5 except for clock/turbo speeds, so you should be fine.
