I looked for I5 9600k or I7 4790k but I didnt find them anywhere then I found I7 8700 in 400$ but that CPU has a bad reputation of being too hot and the temperature become very high and that scared me as it might damaged, so should i buy it? Or go for I7 9700k 530$ which I have to pay fortune to buy plus mobo , Ram.
My rig is :
Motherboard : h81
Cpu : I5 4440
Gpu: 1060 msi gaming x
Ram : 8 ddr3

Solution
For just 30 dollars more I would stick with the i7. The clock speeds of the two cpus are identical (4.3GHz over all cores) and the i7 has 12 threads vs 6 threads in de i5. Because of this the i7 has a better multicore performance.

You might be able to squeeze a bit more singlecore performance (en thus gaming performance in certain games) out of the i5 9600k if you decide to overclock it, but for this you'll also need to invest in a good cooling solution and a more expensive z390/z370 motherboard.

The i7 8700(k) and 9700k are very similar temperature wise. Both are really good performers with or without overclock and the temperature problem shouldn't discourage you to buy either of the two.

Which cooling solution are you planning to use? Also, what are you going to use your pc for and are you going to make additional upgrades to your rig?

Thank you for reply , for gaming only , fan zalman gaming 15$ that what i found here ,you mean I7 8700 non k can work fine and i dont have to worry for years even if it gets hot , what is the maximum degree that is considered safe for the cpu? Upgrading Nothing except mobo and ram.

What I mean is that even though the 8700 tends to run on the hot side, it shouldn't discourage you to buy the cpu. The cpu isn't overclockable and therefore a 30ish dollar air cooler like the hyper 212 will suffice. I would stay away from using the stock cooler or the 15 dollar zalman cooler though.

As for the temperature, I personally try to keep my cpus under 75c when under load for extended periods of time for longevity, but they won't suddenly break down if they get hotter. Instead they throttle back in speed as a safety precaution. This usually happens between 90c and 100c, so you want to stay under that at all times.

Since you only use your pc for gaming and you intent to keep your gtx 1060, It might not be worth getting an expensive 8700. Your gaming experience won't improve all that much because your system will still be held back by your gpu. Instead I suggest you invest your money into something like an ryzen 5 2600, b450 mobo and 16 gigs of 3200 mhz ddr4 (or intel equivalent). You'll be able to save a lot of money while getting a similar gaming experience!

The problem is there is no ryzen in my country ,the only two option are either 8700 or 9700k , and that is sad as you said i wont get much improvment , should i consider buying a GPU instead? my money is about (900$) which gives me two routs go for cpu (I7 8700 400$ ; 9700k 530$) and(200$ mobo and ram) or Gpu(2070 rtx 800$ , 2060 rtx 600$) as the computer components here are expensive.
*Note: i want to play at 1080p

If those are your only options I would get the i7 8700. Make sure you get at least a half decent air cooler (a 30 dollar hyper 212 or similar) so you won't have to worry about your temps. Paired with your gtx 1060 and 16 gigs of ram this will make a really nice 1080p gaming machine. You can always decide to upgrade your gpu at a later time if you want to game in a higher resolution.

I strongly discourage you to upgrade your gpu right now. Your i5 4440 will completely bottleneck any of the newer high end cards.

unfortunately, the price seems to be 430$ not 400$ my bad:D,z motherboards are expensive there is 390z pro 175$ which is the cheapest so if i invested in I5 9600k plus mobo and ram would cost me (630$) on the other hand if in I7(620$) so in the end the total would be the same and the best choice as you said I7 8700 for more threads . OK now this is the last question, which mobo is better the msi H310 or B360 pro-vh? both are the same price 100$. you have helped me alot.

Definitely go with the B360 motherboard. H310 motherboards are quite limited and not intended for gaming builds (unless for extreme budget builds)

Keep in mind that the msi B360 pro-vh only has 2 dimm slots. Therefore you should probably get a kit of two 8gb ram sticks.

Thank you from my heart for your consultation , you helped me make my mind set on I7 8700 and B360 :giggle::giggle:. there is Bazoka which has 4 slots for rams but it costs 160$!! which is very stupid price.
