If you like using it plugged in, then go for it. That battery on that model doesn't have the best life span (one of the reasons I ditched it) and will cost more than the mouse to replace. If you're in a hot climate the glue holding the thumb pad on to the body likes to melt over time as well (reason two I ditched the mouse). I will say this for Razer, their tech support people are very nice. I got to talk to them a lot while I owned that mouse.
