Ryzen 5 price in my country is like 220 now. and i cant decide is it worth to wait.

Also i wanted to buy a 8400 instead buy i dont wanna buy it with z boards because its expensive and i wont be using its main feature(OC).And im a no go on 8600k its out of the budget and too expensive.

Solution
Just my opinion...
Ryzen is a very good value for multithreaded batch production.
You get many threads for a good price.
But, I think the value as a gamer is overblown.
The more you pay from 1600/1700/1800 you get more cores, (12/16)but none of them can generally reach 4.0 clock rate.
Intel 8350k/8600K/8700K (4/6/12 cores) can all reach 5.0
Of course, we all have a budget so buy what you can afford.
Do you *need* a new CPU now? Will you benefit from the 6c/12t?

Ryzen 2nd gen will likely be a bit faster, improved IPC and memory compatibility - so if you *can* wait, it's certainly not going to hurt.

If you *need* a CPU today though, it's a very good option for the money.

It should be around April right same for b360 chipset boards for Intel. IM thinking of buying a G4560 now and just save it so i can have 2 pc.

Potentially April - Q2 is all that's slated. April-June range. I'd expect the R7 to launch first, with the R5's a couple of weeks later.

I wouldn't build a G4560 rig to get you through (potentially) 4 months. If you *needed* to build today, and a G4560 could do the job, I'd consider a Ryzen3 1200. Pair that with a B350 board and upgrade *IF* you need the additional cores, upgrade the CPU alone when Ryzen Gen2 launches.

If a G4560 would work for you, I don't see any real need to be eyeing up the 'new' R5 1600 though.

Your going to need a updated motherboard to run one of the new Chips. It will take a month or so for suppliers to catch up unless they preorder or update their own stock" Doesn't happen to often". If you go RYZEN and want the latest when it comes out grab a R3 1200 and updated then get the 1600 replacement. You will need to make sure the RAM you order is on the QVL though since the latest update 4.4 has caused a ton of issues with many popular brands and series that worked fine previous.

A G4560 is LGA1151-1 and essentially a dead board with no future upgrades. The budget chips and budget boards on LGA1151-2 are due out later this year or early next.

Why eye up RYZEN refresh? 10% better performance, possible higher over clocks at the same price, Why wouldn't you that closes the performance gap even more with the Intel 8XXX series.

What is the primary use for this pc?
Is it for gaming, or for multithreaded batch apps?

Generally speaking, if you have a need now, go ahead and buy now.
If you wait, you will wait forever for the next best thing.

If your current processor is the I5-4590 in your sig, see if you can't buy a I7-4790K for a massive upgrade.
It needs no overclocking to run well.
It has a passmark rating of 11189 which is similar to the ryzen at 12,308.
But... for gaming, the single thread rating is very important.
The 4790K runs at 2530 vs. ryzen at 1830.

Missed the sig.

Your workload will determine whether it's worth the upgrade OP.

A G4560 shouldn't even enter the decision though, if you have a 4590.

Its for a second pc im building. Mainly for gaming.

For gaming, one rule of thumb is to budget about 2x the cost of the processor for the graphics card.
Not a bad rule for low and mid range gaming.
For high end graphics like GTX1080ti, stick with an overclocked intel 8th gen K processor.
You can pick 4/6/12 threads, but 6 is about optimal.

I think im going either ryzen 5 1600 or ryzen 7 1700 now which ever is on stock. And ill be buying a cheap 1050ti and wait till price comes down. 1050ti now is like 200$ or something bnew

$180-$250 will get you a used 970 GTX which is slightly slower than a 1060 GTX, 1050 TI's @ $200 seem a waste with the used market. Im running a 1600X which I got at Micro Center cheaper than a 1600 at the time it will handle whatever you want easily enough.

Thanks , i might get the ryzen 7 because i dont like the current z370 boards. both are same price proce + board so i dont really know which one to get. but people say ryzen 7 are good for multitasking so i might go with that.

If you want massive-multitasking then Ryzen 7 1700 is unbeatable value. Ryzen 5 2200G, 1500X, 1600 and up all handle 60FPS gaming fine.

None of those CPUs will bottleneck GTX 1070 or under.

Next gen in April will keep same motherboards and be close to 10% faster.

If you were chasing over 100FPS then I would recommend Intel or waiting for Ryzen 2nd gen, but you should be fine to buy now.

AMD motherboards are definitely cheaper than Z370.
