Hello
I have 500$ and 3200G with RTX 2070 Super
yes i have huge bottleneck but i wanted a better CPU ( i was having 2700x ) and sold it cuz it couldn't handle my 3D work
i'm a student and i could get a threadripper but i cant afford that, i have 500$ rn and maybe the next month i can get 100$ more so.. should i get the 3900x or wait for the upcoming 5000 series?
i can wait until December but idk when they launch the 5000 series
any thoughts?
my rig:
Ryzen 3 3200X
RTX 2070 SUPER
Msi X570 Gaming Plus
16GB 3200mhz
EVGA 700w +80 Bronze
500GB Lexar SSD
8TB (2x4) HDD WD Blue
Win 10 Pro

Well i mean,if you really need a CPU now,go for 3900X.If you can wait then buy new generation, they should come out in late 2020.
But in my opinion i dont think getting a 3900X would be a bad idea. Its a absolute unit when it comes to CPU performance,12 cores/24 threads will absolutelly handle any type of work you put on it.
