Question Should I buy the "ASUS PCE-AX3000 WiFi 6" or the "Asus AX3000 (Pce-AX58BT)" Wifi-6 Adapter to go with my ASUS AX11000?

Mar 17, 2016
Hello all, i recently got a new Wifi 6 Router from Asus (AX11000):

My current MotherBoard is a MSI Z390 Godlike which does not support WiFi-6 by default.

I am planning on buying a new Wifi-6 adapter from ASUS to plug into my motherboard so I can have faster download speeds and less latency for my Verizon 940MBps internet.

I cant decide which one of these 2 ASUS Wifi-6 Adapters I should get:

According to the ASUS website, the cheaper one AX3000($49.99) is the same thing but it has more features than the more expensive AX58BT ($69.99).

However, I am confused with the price difference. The one which cost $20 less has more features.
Is the $49.99 adapter better because it has more features?
Is the $69.99 adapter better just because of the mere fact that it cost more?
I strongly suspect the only difference is that the more expensive device has the extra antenna mount and extension cables. Asus for many years has charged a premium for this little bit of plastic and the cables. Microwave cable is expensive but it is not that expensive. I think they both use the same intel ax200 chipset.

Still for many people the ability to extend the antenna away from the computer case makes a huge differenec in performance.

I was laughing at who ever wrote the ad for one of the cards.

"Next Gen Wi-Fi 6 - future proof your PC with the next-gen Wi-Fi 6 technology, providing up to 2.7x faster speed than the previous Wi-Fi generation"

Ya "future proof" proved wrong again. Wifi6e has already made all current generation wifi6 cards obsolete. No way to upgrade them you must replace them when wifi6e becomes available.
