Should I buy the GTX 1080 in LATE 2017?

I'm considering to buy an ASUS strtix gtx 1080. There's a limited time sale in my local convenience store so now it costs around $520. Normally this card costs $700.

I live in Europe (Denmark) and this card used to be $930 when it launched.
Is it worth a grab right now?

That's a good price compared to what it normally cost. I would also look to see if the GTX 1070 ti is cheaper as the performance should be fairly close.
