[SOLVED] Should I Buy The Ryzen 5 5600X Or The Ryzen 7 3800X

I'm planning to upgrade my pc
I'm going to use the pc for gaming and video editing.
Anyone know if it would be better to buy the older Zen 2 Chip with more cores or the Newer Zen 3 Chip?

5600X because it's way better in gaming while also having very close multi-thread performance to the 3700X
