Im planning to buy a computer to play games at 1080p. Is this combo worth it? Link

Im also going to buy a GTX 960 soon. Maybe now or wait till Black Friday. Should I wait till black friday for the rest too? Will I get a better deal? Btw the Case is useless for me.

You won't be able to play 2013+ titles at 1080p+decent fps without a dedicated video card.

Neither of those 2 systems is a good idea at all as both use low quality PSUs.

Putting together your own bundle is a much better idea.

Gpu will constantly drop in price as you wait and its possible that a store might lower it to get rid of it on Black friday but there's always a possibility of that not happening at all.
Like tiny voices said build your own under a psu with a good rating. As you can see they mark up the price of that bundlle you posted is 150$ then you can lessen it with mail in rebates after you pay for it. 150 extra buy yourself could go towards a better power supply in the build and maybe switching to a ssd. BTW if your going to build your own from scratch my advice would be to use pcpartpicker
-build desired computer using cheapest priced parts
-look at what sites are offering the cheapest parts if 4 or more parts are from the same site try to use that one
-look at the prices of the remaining parts you need for your desired build and try to find them on that site and buy all components from that site at once
-this saves on shipping costs immensely
My build i ended up buying from 4 different sites and ended up up having 60-70+dollars in extra shipping

That motherboard is junk. It is known to overheat and fail with 8xxx CPUs. Change that for sure.

Get 2x4gb RAM, not a single stick.

Last, that system has no onboard video so you will not have a working PC until you get a GPU


This is why never to buy those PC "kits". ALWAYS put together your own set of parts.

Better PSU and everything. 2 Ram sticks. And do I really need a 970 to play 1080 max/ultra? Its hitting 581.67 US Dollars tho. Worth it?

I would get an i3 over that FX CPU. Then you can upgrade to an i5.

The rest is fine? This hits the same price point too. And I'll be waiting till Black Friday for all the purchasing actually I'll start it from September if I find any of these items cheap but no hurry.

750w is SUPER overkill for that system. Change to a 550w unit an get an H97 board. Then it's good to go!
