Should I buy VG248QE with bad pc?

Guys I need help I am thinking buyng an VG248QE gaming 144HZ monitor. I have bad pclike i3 processor r9 graphic card,8 gigs of ram, 1TB memory etc.. And I am scared of wasting money if it is not going to work on my pc.

You at least need an i5 and gtx 1070 for 144hz gaming . So I suggest you to get a 75hz free sync monitor as it's commonly available online
