Should I buy wireless wifi adapter or wired ethernet adapter ?

My PC's Ethernet port is damaged... My setup is like this -

Internet cable on router and router cable on PC's Ethernet port but as it's damaged now I need either USB to Ethernet or Wireless Wifi adapter

This are my two choices (USB to Ethernet and Wireless Wifi adapter )

What do you guys this which one I should go for ? Yeah, I know both are different devices. and another is "d but still which one you think I should buy ?

Do you have USB 3.0 on your computer? If so, the USB to ethernet would be my choice.

That said, do you have the option to put a PCIe ethernet card in to your computer? Or are you using a laptop?
I would go with the ethernet. For wifi that is pretty much the worst choice there is especially if you have a desktop machine. Those tiny units have very small antenna and tend to be low power since they are designed to for portable devices where battery saving is important. The problem is made even worse when you place it in a desktop machine where the device is almost totally inside a massive metal case which blocks signals.
 
intel NIC PCIEx1 (x1 can fit in any slot, don't put it in certain ones if you have a dedicated GPU). USB ports always failing on me for older computers before anything else.

If you have the wire there don't switch to wireless. It's not bad to have a backup wireless adapter though. They are only like $10.
