Should I Buy?

Hello everyone. Right now I can currently get a brand new, unopended i7 4790K for about $315 which is $15 to $20 cheaper than most other sites. Should i go ahead and jump on the deal or wait until around 4th of July? Could there be a better sale then? Thanks!

Well the Intel i7-4790k is one of the most used gaming CPU's, it's not too expensive compared to the best Intel CPU's and still has brilliant performance. But which website are you getting this from, please tell me it's not Ebay! Ebay is great for everything except tech and pc components. The only tech related item I have bought from Ebay is a mouse.

Overall it's up to you, I would always recommend buying pc components of a reliable website such as Amazon, it may be more expensive but it will be brand new, and in a better condition when it arrives.

like the other person said, tell us the site. Also if you are only gaming than get a 4690k, you'll save yourself about 100 bucks.

Yes you don't need an Intel i7-4790k when a Intel i5-4690k (the CPU I have) is just fine for gaming and is £100 cheaper.
