Should I cancel this PSU?

I just bought a TX 750 online but I regret because I only have one R9 280x.
Should. I cancel it? I order it because of OC but the GS600 will be cheaper and handle my Pc.

My pc is
I5 4670k
Z87m d3h
Sapphire R9 280x

I feel bad for canceling I haven't paid yet

Corsair GS600W PSU will handle your PC fine and has sufficient headroom for overclocking

Are you in the US? If so there are cheaper options than the GS for your PSU. But if not, go ahead and cancel it, the GS will handle your 280x.

Sorry was looking at benchmarks for the total system power consumption. 600W will work fine with OC.

Barely, since the total power consumption should come in around ~550W...

Might be better to invest in a high power PSU. See if there are any cheaper 620W or 750W PSUs, but make sure they are tier one or two with this list:

._. I ordered a Tx 750 but I think I won't use all the potential, I will Oc but not going for SLI so I thoughht about the Gs600 that will handle oc and 1 R9 280x.

The 4670k under load should pull around 110W and your 280X around 220W. So the GS will work.

For gaming purpose R9 280x consumes around 209-230W power at full load. i5 4670k @ 4.5-4.7Ghz will consume around 100W at peak load.

So your total system consumption will not be more than 400W in any case

AS i already mentioned GS600W is a decent quality PSU so you'r good to go with this PSU

Thanks, last question what model of the gs 600 is tier 2? There are 3
One is 80 plus haswell compatible.
One is 80 plus bronze not compatible with haswell
One is 80 plus bronze compatible haswell compatible (I think this one 😛 )

Are all the same?

The GS is a good Tier Two Class A PSU.

Not sure where you are finding the not compatible with haswell model, but they should be the same.

.____________. The only TX I found was the TX 750 but it's more expensive I am not going to xfie because I'd have to change my MOBO (I haven't bought it so I could) but I am playing on a single monitor (1080P) (that I haven't buy it BTW) So... Nope.

I wish I could find a TX650 It's cheaper than the Gs600 but out of stock everywhere, and discontinued

Yes it is V2 non modular that's the one I was gonna cancell and get the Gs600 because of my pc aspects and money

The Version 2 is a Seasonic and the GS is a CWT , the TX is superior.

Of course it's superior the question is how much and if I need the 750W
The 750 is for sli or x fire and it supports 4 6pin pci.

But I don't think I'll need 2 R9 280x to play on a single 75Hz 1080p monitor.

I get what you are saying the price is worth it but I am on a budget I could afford it if I switch from the pc case CM 690 ii advance black and white to a K350.

To be honest I order it because it's a TX and I couldn't find a 650W, also because I am doing some OC and I thought the Gs couldn't handle it. I ask and apparently it's a good unit, if I had the money I would go for it.

No, the other way around I bought a Tx 750 but haven't paid it yet because I thought it's a lil overkill. Then found the Gs600 for $25 less

Last question and I won't cancel the TX 750 according to me the power consumption should be around 500W or 550W but under full load, meaning the average wattage is like a third of that (web browsing, texting, writting school papers) is the efficiency affected if I only use like 200W. This is one of the reasons I didn't want a 750W Psu
