I would be mostly editing complex mogrt files (motion graphics template files) in premiere pro.

Here are my components for my "new build"

CPU - i9 12900k,

GPU - 4060ti 16gb GPU

Mobo - Msi Pro Z790-P motherboard, ATX

Ram - Kingston fury beast RAM 64 GB (2×32GB) 6000Mhz, CL 30

Storage - 2 1tb sticks of Kingston Fury Renegade M.2 Nvme SSD ( 1 SSD's for OS applications and media storage and other SSD for media cache)

Cooler - Any good 360 AIO liquid water cooler.

PSU - Corsair 850W 80+Gold Fully Modular PSU.

Monitor - A 27 inches 2k monitor (2560x1440)

My questions are -

1)Can these components create a major bottleneck or thermal throttle issues?

2)Can you all suggest any other components such that playback of video, speed of rendering and exporting of the video improves while editing videos in premiere pro. I would be mostly editing mogrt - motion graphics template files in premiere pro?

Well...........you apparently have Intel CPUs on your mind.

A new series will be released soon. Best estimate as of today is the second half of October.

Known as Core Ultra 200 series. Using a new socket entirely. Will require new motherboards.

Apparently....first few will be K models. Probably replacements for the current i5-14600K, i7-14700K, and i9-14900K. More to follow in early 2025.

Performance of course is unknown until actually released and tested, but you can find speculation and some preliminary info with a web search.

Above Oct 10 date I think has been revised to a week or two later.

"Any problem" is a very broad question. "The future" extends quite a ways.

You could have immediate problems due to quality control on the hardware or you may live happily ever after.

I have no knowledge of mogrt files. Maybe they would be child's play with a 12900K. I don't know.

As a general principle, I'd try to get the strongest processor within my budget that does what I want it to do. I have no idea how big a deal doing a job in 22 seconds rather than 25 is to you. I don't know what would disappoint you.

If you cannot wait 60 days and want Intel, I guess that would be the 12900K....assuming you have rejected the 13000 and 14000 series for whatever reason.

I am rejecting Intel 14th series because of stability and oxidation issues. Also there have been very less reports that state that i9 12900k have some problem therefore I plan to get these.

Yeah, there is that issue.

It's up to you. I'd wait, just to leave a path for upgrading CPUs on the new socket. But you have your own situation to deal with. Gaining 10 percent on performance might not matter to you at all. Or you might wish you had waited.
