Should i change asus gtx 960 cooler?

I heard that people say if you change the cooler with aftermarket gpu cooler,it will be a huge difference.if so is it worth it,what is the risk and what is the worst possibilites that could happen,and what is the best budget aftermarket gpu cooler?

Who said that? I doubt there would be any difference at all even with a high end water cooler, the 960 already runs very cool it does not need a robust air or water cooler to run at its max potential. Even when overclocking I doubt you would see much of a difference, the stock cooler is more than adequate to handle a good overclock.

Yeah I was talking about the strix version. Even the cheaper models are still pretty good.
