Question Should I change CMOS battery?

Should I change my CMOS battery?
If I change do I have to reinstall anything?
What changes will there be if I replace it?
-I ran into a problem yesterday when I turn on my pc and it won’t boot up and stuck on black loading screen.
-I opened bios and see that the date is 08/13/6022 and I tried to change it and restart it for 2-3 times. until I get a menu where it asked me what would I want to do and I chose reset this pc and it install the windows and my pc booted up normally.

MB:Z390 Gaming Edge AC
GPU:2060 MSI
RAM:16 GB 8x2
SSD:WD BLUE 1 TB M.2
PSU:Corsair 650w bronze

Only thing to do after a new battery is set the bios to optimal default values, make sure that date is right, if not set it right, and after that enable XMP. For the rest should it ll be fine.

It is up to you. But I would say you should change battery if you experience this kind of problems. After all it's very cheap part.
