Question Should I change my gpu?

Hi,
Mobo: ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING
GPU: Sapphire RX 5600 XT
CPU: R5 3600 6- Core Processor
Ram: 16 gb ddr4


so far this gpu is performing really well but I was just curious about long term. Will this gpu be able to support games in 2-3 years from now?

We cant really tell what your gpu going to be like in 2-3 years down the line. Games will evolve and be more powerful and they could require more GB in gpu. If you think its best to upgrade your new GPU then there some new ones coming out this month with 16GB and that will work good in your comp for many years until you wanna upgrade again!

Yeah if your games still play really good then stick with the GPU but there be some new GPU coming out this month with good specs if you wanna upgrade to them one day!

I think with your system specos 1080p @ 60fps is your goal and you should get it on most modern AAA titles with medium to high graphics settings.👶

1080p @ 60Hz? Yeah, your card is more than enough to handle high-ultra gaming.

• Beats out the RTX 2060 in most titles
• Uses less power than RTX 2060 too

Yes its doing really good for 1080p 144hz gaming so far. I just have to change my power supply from 400 wats to atleast 600+ and get a new case with like 5-6 fans. I recently fried my ssd because of heat. 700 gb of games gone I thought it was my gpu but its my power supply. Rx-5600 xt needs 500 wats and I only have 400.

Click on the first link in my signature. They write-up is absolutely a MUST read in other to pick out a high quality power supply, and to help about the lousy ones.

Honestly, with a high quality PSU, 550 should be fine. But 650 won't hurt, and sometimes they are only slightly more than the 550 watt of the same brand/model.

Makes no sense to pay a premium now for future performance IMO.
