if it was me id stay with intel and just get a better chip for that same socket to avoid needing a new motherboard and possibly different RAM. could you go to an i7 in that same socket?

A GTX1050 Ti is pretty basic 1080P entry level..which would mandate lower settings on most games from the last 2 years, I'd think...

Granted, an 8400 is no 'unlimited FPS' system either, especially with but 6 threads...(certainly no threads to spare during gaming for online streaming/recording, etc...)

Ok so I'm going to order the parts next week, I'm also going to get rtx 2060 from my friend for 190€
Thanks for help

That's great! You won't regret buying this. After you buy the GPU and the CPU, RAM and Board you should maybe replace that PSU. Not that it isn't good but just for some headroom. It would be good for you to have like a 600-650Watts PSU for future upgrade and headroom. The 2060 recommend a 500 Watts PSU which you have and people normally add some headroom to that so they would buy a 550-600-650 depending on their budget etc. You don't have to tho. Just a suggestion :)

To be honest I'd go with a 9600k, you can overclock this to 5+ GHz and it performs about the same as any other 9th gen Intel for gaming. It's definitely worth upgrading your RAM, Some 3600 MHz 16 CL will give outstanding fps contrary to the popular misconception that it's a waste of time. If you shop around it's not much more than 3200 MHz (if your mobo supports it!) You rig is now ready for a serious GPU.

Not with his motherboard. It doesn’t support overclocking and has a max supported RAM speed of 2666mhz. Your also still stuck with a 6 thread cpu.

I wouldn't, 6 threads is already struggling in some games.
