I've been planning an upgrade for my actual rig, which is:
3x4gig Corsair Vengeance 1600 mhz (1333) Core i7 2600k (stock) GTX 980 FE Bad motherboard. Really...it's a OEM mobo that I found after my Asus P8Z68-V gave up.
I'll be upgrading to:
Ryzen 7 1700 (Planned OC to 3.8 ghz) An X370 motherboard (still unsure which, recommendations are welcome!) 2x8gig Ram @ stock 3000 mhz (unsure which ones as well) Same GPU
I've been using an OCZ Fatality 750W for about the past 5 and soon to be 6 years.
Would any of you recommend changing my PSU for a new one or is it viable/reliable to keep rocking this one?

Well things do wear out so eventually it will need to be replaced. I would say if you put everything together and have no problems, keep using it. But if you start getting unexplained BSOD's or other problems it would be highest on my list of suspects.
