Should I Change out my Current Case?

Solution

Ohhh okay.
It will be larger and it might disrupt the airflow of that roswill case which is a nice case but assuming the card is facing down having more airflow towards the card wouldn't be a bad idea.

I think that case of a starter case for basic builds but if you're getting a larger fan card it'll take up more space, be a bit more cramped, and the front panel fan won't be as efficient as it tries to circle to your CPU from the front panel past the GPU. So yeah, upgrade your case.

Would a single card have any difference in overall performance or noise?

Gaming in general runs better on just one card, since most games either aren't optimized for SLI or don't support it at all. It would also be much quieter. SLI could also make games run much better, however, depending on the game.

It's generally a safer bet to run a card that gives you the performance you need without running SLI, as it's cheaper and will run better.

JayLt's answer is most correct as SLIing really has no benefits. Research it a bit if you're curious, but the overall consensus is that unless you're doing some intense graphic rendering and need a ton of monitors then you don't really need to SLI anything for gaming.
A single card that's strong will perform better in gaming scenerios rather than SLIing two weaker cards.
