Hey,
Am using
i5-7400
Z270 Ultra Gaming
1Tb Barracuda
32Gb Intel Optane
8Gb Lpx Corsair Vegeance OC'ed to 3200Mhz
RX 580 8Gb
700Watt 80+ Bronze
-
As what I seen on google
Ryzen has better performance on VideoEditing.
Is it true? Cause I would like to get R1600X
-
80% of my PC is used to video rendering (photoshop, audition, premiere, after effect)
And rest are for gaming
-
And am from Indonesia, especially pc parts are damn priced here..
I've spent over $1700 if it's converted into USD

Solution
In video rendering, Ryzen 5 1600x, Ryzen 5 1600, Ryzen 5 2600x are far better than your I5-7400 and possibly better than i7-7770k. You would notice a lot of improvement.

I do not know the prices in your country, but in mine, it is more expensive to buy an i7-7770k than a Ryzen 5 1600x + mobo.

For the existing price difference I would not buy the second generation Ryzen 5 2600x but the first Ryzen 5 1600x. If it is significantly cheaper you can also consider the ryzen 5 1600, if you are experienced with overclocking.

About RAM. Make sure that your RAM is compatible with the mobo for Ryzen.
Do you have an 8GB or two 4GB skits?

It would depend on how much you want to spend on the upgrades.
The cheapest option would be to buy a 7700k and overclock it.
Changing to Ryzen is also going to require a new motherboard.
I would also suggest buying another 8GB of memory too.

If you factor in selling your current CPU and motherboard then going with Ryzen is probably a better idea.
Since Ryzen second gen is out the 2600x would be the better buy.
