I was installing my cpu water cooling (DeepCool maelstorm 240t) for my Core i7 6700k CPU.

When i pushed the heatsnik to the cpu i realized i have screwed mounting plate wrong so i had to pick it up again so that the thermal grease left on the cpu.

It got 2 minutes to re-screw the mounting bracket and i placed it on the cpu again.

Is it ok ??!!!

Need to add that thermal grease was applied on the heatsnik by default.

Solution
Actually most preapplied thermal paste is pretty good the 2c or so you will gain by changing it ia not normally worth the time and effort to change
1. it can be more than 2 degree. I've seen 6-7.
2. they can have shorter lifespan. dry thermal paste reduces performance.
I wouldn't trust that shitcool included anything decent. They are not EKWB that including up to Thermal Grizzly with their products.
