Hi guys,
As far as I know 27" FHD is not very recommended.
However I am wondering; Should I be positioned further away when looking at a 27" 2k monitor or facing a 24" 1080p monitor?
I have a 60cm width table, which one should I go for?
2k (2560x1440)
FHD(1920x1080)

It depends on your eye-sight. With age it becomes worse.

For me personally - 27" 1080p is perfectly fine
and 2k screen is actually requires 32" or 34".

BTW - what is use case of your system?
If gaming, then what graphics card are you using?
Does it have enough performance for high resolution modes (2k/4k)?

Actually I wonder; 27" 2k(2560x1440p) is suitable for 60cm width desk? Or do you recommend lower screen size for that kinf of desk dimensions, but keep in mind that if the screen size decreases, the resolution will drop to 1080P.

Since the width of the table is directly related to the distance between the monitor and the eye, I wanted to focus on this issue.

Btw dimensions of desk are: 120cm (length) x 60cm(width) x 78cm(height)

Do you have 27" 1080p monitor with 60cm widh table or are the dimensions of table you use different?

As for the questions you asked;
1. Components are;
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7700 (nonX)
Moba: Asus Tuf Gaming B650 M Plus Wi-Fi
Ram: DDR5 2x16GB 6000 Mhz
Gpu: Asus Dual 4070

2. Focused on both gaming and general use.
3. Yes, I hope it can give enough performance for 2k.

Get 32"or 34" 2k screen then.
120cm is plenty of space for that.

I have 32" screen on 80cm desk. It fits (just barely).

LCD screens are very thin. It will fit even on 30-40cm depth desk.
With 60cm you'll still have space left for keyboard and mouse.

You also consider your distance from the monitor, right? Because the main thing is the distance between your eyes and the monitor, rather than the monitor's fit on the table.

Although it varies according to the user. On a table with a width of 60 cm, you have a viewing distance of approximately 50 cm to 60 cm in terms of your sitting position. Increasing the resolution here allows you to use larger monitors without changing your range of use. But how effective would it be to increase the resolution from 1080p to 1440p?

For example, if we take a 60cm wide table as a base, can you provide the dominance of your eyes on a 24" 1080p monitor on a 27" 1440p monitor? Is the increase in resolution sufficient to provide the same ease of use without changing the distance, or does looking too close cause visual disturbances?

Distance from eyes to screen should be equal to your arms length.

The base of a monitor stand will usually be much less than the dimensions of the panel itself.
My take is to buy the largest and highest resolution monitor you feel comfortable paying for.
Certainly a 2k 34" monitor would be good. If you find the text too small, you can always change the text size.
For that reason, I would consider a 4k monitor.
