So I've just upgrade my pc. I'm kinda new to this, so bear with me. I installed a 1060 graphics card and upgraded the memory to 16 gigs. Ran fine after driver installation. However,I wanted to fix the ram speed. I set it to xmp1 (2400) and it ran for about five minutes until out if page bsod screen. Check mobo and max supported mem speed is 2333. Okay, reenter bios, and change only memory speed from auto and xmp1 to manual and 2333. Upon restart I get continuous beeps and no post. I changed the memory out for the old ones, and that gave the beep signal for ram issue. Should I perform a cmos jump, or is something else wrong?
