Hey Guys,

I'm migrating my OS that is on a mechanical hard drive to an SSD. Is it best to clone the hard drive using some sort of software. If so, what software is best? If not, is a clean install best?

Thank you

Solution
just disconnect the old HDD from the motherboard and connect the ssd to the sata port and then set the sata mode in AHCI to get the maximum performance (the sata mode can be found in boot options), and make sure that the ssd is in the first Boot priority , then do a clean install , after you did all this connect the HDD and clone it through the new windows Disk manager.
