So, about a year ago I built my computer. It has been great but a bit lacking in terms of graphics potential.
My PC:
Bundle
+
Memory

So I have recently been thinking about upgrading my video card. Although I'm slightly unsure how I should do this. I have thought about buying another R7 265 and considered Crossfiring both cards. But as I'm unfamiliar with Crossfire, and if there is any potential power loss. Such as each card only increases power by 33% ect..

I have also considered saving up and buying a GTX 970, then selling my current card. I'm kind of unsure which route to go so I was wondering if I could get some help.

Any other suggestions about cards I should consider in the $300-400 range would be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Link broken to your build , please post it as data or put a new link

For 400$ you would be looking at R9 390x

For 300-400$ range you would be looking at R9 390

R9 390 should give you better performance than the GTX 970 also comes with much bigger VRAM
R9 390x should give you better performance than both cards .

They require a 650 watt good quality PSU .

Using multi-GPU still has issues today , also an R9 390 is going to give you bigger and more stable performance than 2 R7 265 in crossfire ,

Best option would be selling the card and going for R9 390

I still need to know the build parts to know if the cards can work okay with it .
