[SOLVED] Should i disable Aero for better Performance ?

My PC isn't really slow, But i want to make it faster, Should i disable Aero theme ?

Spec :
Intel Pentium E5700
Samsung 4GB 1333mhz & V-Gen 2GB 1333mhz PC10600
MSI GT 710 1GB DDR3
ASUS P5G41TM-LX
WD Blue 500GB 7200 RPM

Either disable some of Windows visual effects (tutorial here) or add more RAM if your running 64-bit Windows.

Adding more RAM is the preferrable option as 4GB is barely enough these days, needs to be double that as a minimum.

aero is a resource hog for sure. if you need those resources elsewhere then disable it.

it's nothing but a visual effect and won't change how windows runs in general. it just frees up resources for use elsewhere. there's a reason windows removed it after win 7 since it was such a resource hog.
