Should I do this?

Should I mix these 2 ram sticks? I own the elitegroup one and I saw this one for cheaper. Does it make a difference what brand it is?

Do not mix different RAM, it usually causes problems.

I wouldn't do it. It may save you money, but it could also lose you money in the long run.

If anything, one is SDRAM and one isn't (at least from the eBay listing).

HYNIX says DDR3 SDRAM
Elite says DDR3 SDRAM
I am going to send something to the seller and ask if it is and if it is would it be good?
