I am looking to get rid of my xbox one and get a gaming laptop
I posted it on Facebook and someone wants me to trade me an Asus, G75M gaming computer
Should I do the trade?

Generally, laptops make pretty weak game machines. They simply cannot push enough air through the inside of the chassis to keep it cool when gaming. The other thing is that they almost always use the very low power versions of CPU's and GPU's, which translates into "much slower than a desktop".

If you are going to make the jump away from a console, get a small form factor case, and motherboard/video card small enough to fit into that, and use real fans to keep things cool enough to really rock the games.

No experience with the laptop myself but considering how much you paid for the Xbox one and how much that one is and that link, yes the hardware isnt bad. Up to you but it is a good choice in my opinion
