So im just trying to get over 60fps and 1080p on games like Cod ww2 or Pubg. Im getting a fx 6350 with a gtx 1060 6gb. Or i could get a new processor with it. A ryzen 5 1600. The problem with that is i have to buy a new Motherboard with an am4 socket and new ram. So should i just stick with the fx and gtx or upgrade more. Im not trying to spend a lot of money.

-If lowering the graphics settings has no effect on frame rates, then the bottleneck is your CPU.
-If lowering the graphics settings increases the frame rate, then your GPU is reaching its upper limits.

Make your decision based on this.

Your current R9 380 should be able to handle PUBG/COD WW2 fine.

You are clearly cpu bounded, ryzen 5 would help boost your fps by a good margin, but you will need about 300-400 for cpu mobo and ram, so it’s up to your Budget.

Don't. I don't know what you currently have, in terms of CPU or motherboard, but, assuming you're buying new, the payoff on purchasing ANY AM3/3+ chip is very poor in terms of performance gain per dollar.

Yes, it'll cost more to move to a modern platform. However, saving whatever money you would've spent on another AM3/3+ CPU to put toward the new platform is a MUCH better idea.

If the motherboard & cooling is decent a CPU overclock may help increase the FPS.
