So i just bought a new EVGA GeForce GTX780 graphics card and have been running off my amd apu. I'm just wondering if i am suppose to uninstall my old apu driver sofware and install my new geforce driver software before putting in and installing my graphics card. Can i just uninstall previous software and put graphics card in or...?

I followed these directions and installed the new drivers in safe mode. Then on restart it black screened? Should I try to reinstall the graphics drivers again or did I mess something up?

What's the specs on the rest of your system? Can your PSU handle the graphics card etc? When I upgraded I did exactly as I wrote (no safe mode), and it worked like a charm. If you have a VGA input on your motherboard you can try to see if your PC detects the graphics card. The card can also be faulty, so you can try it in another system if you have access to one.

I dont know what to do to, I have the same problem as his. Should I go to safemode while uninstalling the APU's integrated graphics driver? I need clear instructions pls. (I have a 650W psu)
