my processor is a i5 9400f and i'm considering buying 16 gigs of ddr4 2666 mhz ram because i just used the old ram from my pervious pc which is ddr4 2133 mhz 16 gigs

how much game performance am i really losing with 2133 mhz instead of 2666 mhz? i cannot find anything clear answers online

Nope. Maybe 10 to 15fps considering that is a 2133Mhz kit and what not. Don't sweat it you won't feel or know the difference in FPS. There will be a slight difference but nothing noticeable. Esppecially on the Intel platform where a AMD need fast RAM to operate at peak. If you had a AMD system with that 2133Mhz then you would have a nice bottleneck going on. So since your Intel your fine my friend. 😏
