Should I format my HDD before or after installing a new mobo

I know Win7 allows a format of the HDD apon re-installing but should I do this before replacing my motherboard and CPU or after?

It makes no difference tbh either way you will need to reinstall your OS so format the drive when you come to re install windows.

You should do the re-installing after you've placed the new components. Since the operating system communicates with the motherboard itself, it should be the new one!

Thanks will do. But for the Motherboard drivers AKA the cd I have do I install that before Win7 or After a Win7 install? (Sorry I'm new to this)

After you've installed Windows 7, then you put your mobo drivers' CD and install them!
