Should I get a 1TB SSD or a 256GB Boot Drive and 1TB SSHD?

I am buying parts for my first build, and when I came to storage I reached a decision I didn't know enough about to decide. Currently, I'm writing this on a 7 year old Acer laptop with a hard drive that's probably running at lower than 5400 RPM. The computer can take up to 7 minutes just to boot Windows, and at least 3 minutes once on the desktop for applications to actually boot. For mass files I have a lot of word files and powerpoints and a few pictures, but I am into photography and might start editing videos, so more will come. Games are mostly indies (lots of them) , though I have a few big games like Titanfall and Battlefield 3. The SSD I have been eyeing is the Samsung 840 EVO 1TB, which I recently saw on sale for $300. The 256GB SSD is undecided, but the hard drive would be a WD Blue. *I might get a 512GB SSD instead of the 1TB one if it isn't on sale.*

ok, ssd is good for boot/games and some apps. sshd is good for some multi streaming of stuff..good for a home media server maybe. normal hdds are good for data storage since the ssd/sshd's came out.
consider this when picking ssd/sshd/hhd. the most recent software for the samsung ssds allow u to use some of the system ram to become a ram cache drive for the ssd. this will almost double ssd access times for both reading and writing after it gets used to your ssd usage patterns.
