Question Should I get a 4060 ti or a 3080 ti ?

It depends on what you have now. List your pc specs to inlude the power supply and your current monitor resolution and refresh rate.

4070TI is more better choice then 3080TI also when 4060Ti dose come out it wont be powerful GPU out in market. Also you need to think about your specs on your computer and would your PSU able to work with powerful GPU like 3080ti and such!. Save up your cash and wait until they bring out 4060ti and 4070 and wait for people to test them and give there reviews

my monitor is 165 hz g sync and i think is is 2560 x1440

With pricing as it is for 1440p; the 4070 TI and the 7900xt are two choices in the $800 arena. They perform on par with the 3080.

The issue with the older GTX 30 series is the high power draw.

Since PSU defines what GPU you can go with.
