Should i get a better fan for my CPU when overlocking?

I have a AMD A6 3.6ghz with the standard fan and i wont to overclock it to about 3.8ghz. Is it worth getting a better fan for it or would it stay quite cool?

Try it but you should usually get an aftermarket fan for overclocking. Just monitor the temps and make sure they are not too high, and know what you're doing. Something cheap like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 +/Evo is a great budget choice for overclocking or keeping temps down(which is what I got mine for).

Well you can go half way and get a cheap but better than the stock cooler.

I'd set a 20$ budget on a new heatsink and your gold

I would get a new fan to keep the temperatures cool. A stock fan wouldn't do.

I'd think 200Mhz shouldn't be a big deal on air assuming your case cooling and environment are OK. Worth getting a temp monitoring program and watching just to be sure.

If you are going to overclock I would always advise that you look for a 3rd party HSF (heatsink/fan). At least with the Intel® stock HSF we design them for the performance at stock speeds and performance. So when you are overclocking you are going to run into temperatures higher than what we designed the HSF to deal with.
