Those Korean monitors were dirt cheap when they first came out, but they seem to be less of a bargain at this point. Add on the janky stands, and the questionable warranties, and I would spend the extra money and get a name brand monitor.
I am not a fan of Gsync at this point as it locks you into the Nvidia cards, and is kind of bleeding edge.
The Asus pb278q is a solid choice for a monitor.
