https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/pattypig/saved/ this is my PC and I am wanting to upgrade it slightly but I don't know what to do. I have not payed attention to new hardware realises and I know there are lots of new Ryzen CPUs but I don't know the ideal one to get. There are also GPUs like 1080ect but how much better are they compared to my current one.

980ti>1070, no need for upgrade, your PC is still very good. Get an SSD and migrate OS to SSD. What monitor do you have? I suggest you wait for ice/canon lake as the cost to get coffee lake is much more than the actual improvement. I think you have already OCed your 6600k, if not, OC a bunch. Coffee lake I7 is $400, new Z370 MB is needed ~$100+. 8600k~$270. If you have the budget, Both CPUs will give you a decent boost.
