Should i get a new cpu?

I need some help here guys. I currently have an intel i5-4440 3.10 Ghz and i was wondering if i could get a new one or should this one be fine for now. OR

If you currently have a motherboard that will run a i5-4440, I can't imagine a very good reason to change out your motherboard for added cost and less performance.

I want to get a new motherboard because i hate this mini-itx board that came out of an alienware x51. Anyway i don't like the look of a big gtx 970 hanging off of an itx board.

You can buy any lga1150 motherboard, and it will run your i5-4430.
Buy a pretty one if you wish, but performance will be the same.


For gaming, the FX cpus are a downgrade, they are much slower on a clock for clock basis, and most games can't use more than 2 cores anyway.
