Should I get a new motherboard or not?

I currently have an i3 in a 1155 motherboard and am looking to get an i5-3570K for a new build and just wondering if I should get a new one or not. I want one mainly so I don't have to get the current one out of my current case and put it into the new one without damaging it and because the VGA port on it doesn't work so I plug right into the graphics crd and I don't know if the DVI port works or not. I am fine with buying a new one just not sure if I should or not.

Sure, the computer was pre-built by a custom PC building company, it's an Asus P8Z77-V LX.

Like I said originally, I know I don't need one but am just worried about breaking it while moving it from one case to another.

Well, that sounds like a personal problem. If you don't think you can remove a motherboard from a case without breaking it, should you really be buying another motherboard to put it in a case?

It's not difficult at all. Just touch metal to release any possible static electricity, unplug and unscrew everything from it, and lift it gently out.
